ABOUT THE AUTHOR YOGI PATEL AND HAPPEE HUE

I Am now in the autumn of my life, I have carried a quiet and enduring interest in self-improvement, motivation, inspiration, improving life mindset, and Buddhism for many years. What began as curiosity gradually deepened into something far more personal—a lived experience of reflection, humility, and awakening.Though blessed with a loving family, my path has included seasons of self-doubt and inner questioning. Like many, I have known what it feels like to carry the weight of feeling not enough. Yet through the timeless teachings of the Buddha and others, I discovered that such thoughts are not fixed truths, but passing shadows. In their place, I found clarity, acceptance, and a steadier sense of self. The words of the Buddha began to speak to me in a new way—not simply as ancient wisdom, but as practical guidance for modern living. They offered insight into compassion without self-sacrifice, strength without hardness, and service without losing oneself.A natural helper at heart, I have often supported others, sometimes at personal cost. With time and understanding, I have learned that true compassion includes caring for myself as well. My books are born from this realization—a sincere wish to offer encouragement, balance, and gentle guidance to those navigating their own challenges.I do not consider myself especially religious, but rather deeply spiritual. To me, Buddhism is not so much a religion as it is a way of life — a gentle, practical path for living with awareness, compassion, and balance.Writing under my own publishing banner, Happee Hue, I am creating a growing series of books dedicated to sharing light, mindfulness, and thoughtful reflection. My work includes motivational and self-help books, Buddhist quote collections, mindfulness journals, and relaxing coloring books designed to bring calm, creativity, and positive focus into everyday life.Through my work, I hope that the enduring wisdom of the Buddha and others will continue to inspire, comfort, and awaken hearts—just as it did my own.
